Barbara J. Sevison, 59, of Edwardsburg, passed away at 4:41 p.m. Monday, Nov. 11, 2013 at her childhood residence.

She was born on April 28, 1954 in Elkhart to the late Roy and Helen (Clausen) Sevison.

Barb is survived by; one brother Ron (Maggie) Sevison of Niles, two nephews, Robert of South Bend and Brian of Niles, her partner for the last 17 years, Larry Pappas of Elkhart, Ind. and his children, Tyler (Kristine) Pappas, Tami (Jon) Pyfer, and their children; Mitchell, Camden, Kenley, Alex and Jake, who loved Barb as a mother and grandmother.

Her parents preceded her in death.

Barb worked 40 years for NIPSCO. Was a tireless and dedicated worker who went far beyond her normal responsibilities. She loved animals especially dogs, of which she had many. Barb always had a kind word to say about others and had many friends because of her wonderful personality.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Friday, Nov. 22, 2013 at Walley-Mills-Zimmerman Funeral Home, 700 E. Jackson Blvd Elkhart, IN 46516, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Following the visitation a graveside service will take place at Rice Cemetery.

Memorial donations may be given to Hospice of Southwestern Michigan.

Elkhart Cremation Services is entrusted with arrangements.
