Amanda Lyn Barbour, 29, of Niles, Mich., formerly of Elkhart, passed away from complications of Muscular Dystrophy on Monday, Oct. 7, 2013 at Elkhart General Hospital. She was born Oct. 28, 1983 in Elkhart.

Survivors include her husband, John Joseph Barbour of Niles, Mich.; parents, Gary (Diana) Sundman and Judy Morris; grandmother, Janice Sundman; three sisters, Laura (Robert) Forrest, Erica (Dave) Harger and Monique (Steve Evans) Lewald; two brothers, Roger Jenkins and Eric (Michele) Jenkins.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Christina Marie Sundman.
Amanda was a member of Buchanan Christian Church.
A gathering of family and friends and a celebration of her life will be held Monday, Oct. 28, 2013 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Buchanan Christian Church, 112 W. 3rd Street, Buchanan, MI, 49107. Rev. Sean Kidd will officiate.
Billings Funeral Home, 812 Baldwin Street, Elkhart is entrusted with arrangements.
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the family in memory of Amanda.
