Visiting Mishawaka swept Niles in non-conference volleyball Tuesday night.

The Vikings were defeated 25-14, 25-18 and 29-26.

“We played very inconsistent tonight,” Niles coach Jenny Nate said. “We came out and made some errors in the first two sets which cost us. Even though we made a comeback in the second set, we couldn’t close the gap. In the third set, we finally played strong and went neck and neck for every point.

“We have to find a way to play more consistent as a team. When we can do that, we will be able to close some of these tough matches.”
