Raymond E. Charles, 72, of St. Joseph, died Saturday, Sept. 14, 2013, in Lakeland Hospital, St. Joseph.

Raymond was born May 7, 1941 in Cassopolis, Michigan to Russell and Dorothy (Lambert) Charles. His parents preceded him in death.

Raymond will be greatly missed by family and friends. He is survived by one sister, Verdella Charles of Cassopolis and several cousins.

Family and friends will gather Friday from 10 to 11 a.m. in Connelly Chapel Wagner Family Funerals, 202 N. Broadway St., Cassopolis. They will then process to Dailey Cemetery in Cassopolis for a graveside service.

The family prefers contributions in Raymond’s memory to Wagner Family Funerals to help defray expenses.
