EDWARDSBURG — Donald William Bevilacqua, 77, of Edwardsburg, MI, passed away Thursday, August 22, 2013 at his residence. He was born May 24, 1936 in Rock Island, IL to William Donald and Elizabeth (Hess) Bevilacqua.

On November 30, 1958 he married his wife of 54 years, Sharon L. (Dickeson) Bevilacqua
In addition to his wife, other survivors include a daughter, Kimberly Ann (Tim Turner) Bevilacqua of Wilmington, NC; 2 sisters, Bonnie Greene and Pat (Ed) Collmer, both of Niles, MI; brother, Terry (Wendy) Bevilacqua of Panama; several nieces and nephews.
Donald was a 1954 graduate of Niles High School. He later served in the US Navy for 4 years and then served in the US Coast Guard for over 20 years. Donald also worked in Wilmington, NC as a commercial fisherman for 20 years.
A gathering of family and friends to celebrate Donald’s life will be held Wednesday, August 28, 2013 from 6 until 8 p.m. at the American Legion Post 365, 25751 US Hwy 12, Edwardsburg, MI 49112.
