Merrialice Joyce Blank, 85 of Davenport, Fla. Passed away Jan. 21, 2013 at Sturgill Hospice Care Center in Brooksville. She was born Dec. 26, 1927 in Niles, Mich., daughter of Velma Roxina Suman and Paul Enoch Kuhl. On Aug. 29, 1946 she was united in marriage to LaVerne W. Blank in Plymouth, Ind. She was a homemaker and member of First Presbyterian Church of Niles, Red Hat Society, Niles Reading Club and the Bridge Club at Polo Park. Her siblings, Gretchen Nash and Dwight Kuhl, preceded her in death. Surviving is her husband, LaVerne Blank; children Cherilynn (Philip) Watterson, Srping Hill, Fla.; Diane Carole Creekmur, Greendale, Wis. And David W. (Tina) Blank, Niles, Mich.; sister Jean Monaster of Cal.; 12 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.

The memorial service for Merrialice Blank will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 23, 2013 at the First Presbyterian Church, 13 S. 4th St., Niles, Mich. The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service.
