A pair of used passenger car tire collections will be held in Cass County.

The county has received a grant for the collection of 3,000 used passenger car tires.

The first collection site will be DearPath Recyclers, 56625 Woodhouse Drive in Dowagiac, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Aug. 19-23.

The second collection site will be the Cass County Fairgrounds in Cassopolis, Aug. 24 from 9 a.m. to noon.

The Cass County Board of Commissioners and the Michigan State Extension Office sponsor the collecting of tires.
