Tod Moorhead tossed a five-inning no-hitter for the Naperville (Ill.) Yankees in a 10-0 victory over the Colt 45s July 2.

Moorhead faced one batter over the minimum in earning the no-hitter. He struck out two.

So far this season, Moorhead has pitched 28 innings for the Yankees and allowed just two earned runs on 20 hits. He has 20 strikeouts and two walks with a record of 3-1. Moorhead also had a save and an ERA of 0.50.
