Alicia “Anne” Johnson, 80, died Wednesday July 17, 2013.

Anne was born on Aug. 25, 1932, in Buchanan, to the late Charles Harris Sr. and Elizabeth Sammie (Johnson) Simpson.

She married Forrest L. Johnson Jr. on Aug.  17, 1956, in Niles, and he preceded her in death on May 17, 2011.  Anne worked at Bendix in South Bend, where she met her husband, and later at the Family Affair Restaurant in Angola.  She was part owner of the Snow Lake Mobile Home Park.  She was an avid member of the South Bend PTA, loved to read, paint and being at the cottage.

Surviving are two sons, Michael S. Johnson, of Albion, Ind., and Chris E. Johnson, of Niles;  one daughter, Lisa D. (Chris) Boone of Angola, Ind.  Also surviving is a granddaughter, Brianne Boone, of Angola, and a niece, Karen (Simpson) Redding, of Florida.  She was preceded in death by a brother, Charles Simpson.

Services will be held on Monday July 22, 2013, at 11 a.m. at the H.E. Johnson & Sons Funeral Home, 108 S. West Street Angola, Ind., with Mike Hamm of the Stroh Church of Christ officiating. Burial will be in the Jamestown Cemetery west of Fremont.  Visitation will be on Sunday, July 21, 2013, at the funeral home from 2 to 6 p.m.
