Lynn Edward Davidson, 63, of Buchanan, passed away on Wednesday, Jan. 23, 2013, at Lakeland Community Hospital in Niles, of natural causes.

He was born Aug.11, 1949, in Niles to Jack and Georgia (Topash) Davidson. He was a U.S. Navy veteran, a member of the Pokagon Band, on the Tribal Council and Gaming Authority and he worked as a food service manager/dietary manager. On Aug. 22, 1981, in Buchanan, he married Brenda Johnson.

Surviving family include his wife, Brenda Davidson, of Buchanan; son, Matthew Johnson Davidson, of Buchanan; daughters, Rachel Elizabeth (Dominick) Saratore, of Buchanan, and Heather Elise (Chris) Hoff, of Beaverton, Ore.; six grandchildren, Lauren Keiser, Isabella Saratore, Joseph Saratore, Luca Saratore, Dominick Saratore and Cooper Hoff; and sisters, Jackie (Owen) Harrelson, Becky (Rick) Price, Annie (Jack) Baxter, Joann Hanson, Rose (Wayne) Crossno and Georgia (Butch) Gustafson.

Preceding him in death are his parents and brothers, Lindsey Davidson and James Davidson.

A funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, Jan. 29, 2013, at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Buchanan, with Father Carl Peltz officiating. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m., with a pipe and water ceremony being held at 6 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 28, 2013, in Hoven Funeral Home Inc. of Buchanan. Burial will take place in Oak Ridge Cemetery, Buchanan.
