Doberstein

Arnold and Elma Doberstein of Dowagiac celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary Oct. 3.

The couple was married at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Dowagiac.

They celebrated the occasion with an open house with friends and family Oct 6. Arnold and Elma have two children, Rose Kelly of Dowagiac and Linda (John) Wanberg of Niles.

They have seven grandchildren: Barbara Chandler, Patrick Kelly, John Kelly, Tanya (David) Burkowitz, Angie (Jim) Stevenot and Tim (Sherri) Wanberg.

They also have 10 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandson.
