John and Sally Dalrymple

John and Sally (Proper) Dalrymple, of Niles, were married Aug. 11, 1962, at Bethel Evangelical United Brethren Church in Elkhart, Ind.

They have two daughters, Sheryl (Michael) Smith and Jill (Richard) Anderson, and three grandchildren, Sean Smith and Alyssa and Blake Anderson.

John retired as a business owner and Sally retired as a school counselor at Edwardsburg Public Schools.

To celebrate their anniversary, the family enjoyed a Caribbean cruise to Grand Cayman Island and Cozumel.
