ARDEN — The Wolverines are the champions of the Blossomland Soccer League.

The Wolverines defeated the St. Joe Kickers Blau 4-1 in the Blossomland Cup finals at the Kickers Club Sunday.

Chris Manning, Andy Low, Alex Grandin and Danny Rodts all had goals for the Wolverines.

Ali Algobesey had the lone goal for Kickers Blau.

The Wolverines, who finished third in the First Division, reached the finals by defeating Second Division champion Buchanan FC 4-2 in the opening round. The Wolverines then defeated the Tornados, who were second in the First Division during the regular season 6-2.

Kickers Blau, fifth place in the First Division, opened the tournament with a 3-2 win over P&R FC. Kickers Blau then upset No. 1 seed St. Joe Kickers Premier on penalty kicks.

Kevin Chaddock was the top scorer this season in the First Division as he scored 12 goals for P&R FC. Ryan Catalano of Buchanan FC was the top scorer in the Second Division with 11 regular season goals.
