Bring on summer

To the editor:
As I sit reading my early morning paper, I can hear the cooing of a mourning dove on the power line across the street.
That and the fascinating daily growth of the leaves on my maple tree (they seem to grow as you watch them) are two things that tell me winter is long gone and spring has finally arrived at 611 Orchard.
Also, I’ve had robins in my backyard and I even had my yard mowed Saturday.
Isn’t it great to look forward to another Michigan summer?
