Thomas Turner Jr., 40, formerly of Niles, passed away unexpectedly in Johnson City, Tenn., on March 20, 2012, surrounded by his family, friends, cadre and cadets.
Thomas proudly served his country in the U.S. Army for 10 years (1995-2005). After his military service he continued to contribute to the armed forces by inspiring college students at ETSU on their path to becoming officers.
Visitation will be on Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m. in Mission Hills Memorial Chapel. Services will be on Wednesday at 1 p.m. in Mission Hills Memorial Chapel. Graveside services with military honors will follow the service at Mission Hills Memorial Gardens.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Brown Funeral Home and Mission Hills Memorial Chapel.
