The Niles Housing Commission is accepting applications for a commissioner to serve on the Housing Commission Board.

The Niles Housing Commission meets monthly and may schedule special meetings when necessary. Commission members serve five-year terms. The commission has authority to purchase, construct, maintain, operate, improve, extend or repair housing facilities within the city and to eliminate housing conditions which are detrimental to the public peace, health, safety, morals or welfare of the city.
