L. Jane Rose, 80

Lillian Jane Rose, 80, of Momence, Ill., died on Wednesday, Feb. 29, 2012, at her residence.
She was born on July 20, 1931, in Benton Harbor, the daughter of Max and Katherine Wertz Naumann.
She married Jack D. Rose on Aug. 10, 1952, in Benton Harbor. Her husband survives.
She also leaves three daughters and three sons-in-law, Judy and David Lehman of Colorado Springs, Colo., Pam and Larry Hunte of Momence and Sara and Darryl Boatman of Watseka, Ill.; one son and daughter-in-law, David and Angela Rose of Kyle, Texas; one self-adopted son and daughter-in-law, Greg and Thelma Ostrow of Momence; one sister, Dorothea Pierson of Michigan; one brother, Benny Naumann of Benton Harbor; 12 grandchildren; and one great-grandson.
Her parents, six brothers and three sisters precede her in death.
Mrs. Rose belonged to Calvary Community Church and had been a Cub Scout den leader and volunteered at the Momence Food Pantry.
She was a homemaker, a timekeeper at VM Corp. and had been a cook at Momence Meadows Nursing Home.
She enjoyed macrame, cross stitching, needlework and spending time with her grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 1 to 3 p.m. Sunday at Cotter Funeral Home in Momence.
There will be a memorial service at 3 p.m. March 4 at Cotter Funeral Home officiated by the Rev. Scott Vaughn.
