Maranda Smith married Shane Wallace on Dec. 27, 2011, the day after her day-after-Christmas birthday.

Mandy, of The Plains, Va., is the daughter of Brenda Reagan and of James Smith.
Her grandparents are Opal Reagan (and the late Sam Reagan) of Dowagiac and Hugh Smith (and the late Mary Smith) of Arizona. She graduated from Union High School in 2007 and from Southwestern Michigan College and Ferris State University in 2010 with a bachelor’s degree in business administration.
Mandy is an office administrator and marketing coordinator at John F. Heltzel AIA, P.C.
The groom’s parents are Wayne and Diane Wallace.
Shane is the grandson of the late Ben and Thelma Waldschmidt and Mary Wallace (and the late Arnell Wallace) of Texas. He graduated from DUHS in 2001 and from the University of Northwestern Ohio in 2003. He is a diesel technician and owns Reliable Wrench Mechanic Services.
Cass County Clerk Register Barbara Runyon married them in a private ceremony at the courthouse while visiting their families for the holidays. A reception will follow in 2013.
