Rosalind Bonita “Bonnie” Woods, 63, of South Fourth Street, Niles, died at 4:30 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 8, 2012 at her home

unexpectedly following an illness.

She was born March 4, 1948, in Buchanan to Willie B. Camp and Gladys Geraldine (Pletcher) Camp. She graduated from Niles High School and lived in Niles all of her life.

She was known as the “Neighborhood Grandma.” She enjoyed sewing quilts.

Bonnie is survived by her daughters, Christina Babcock of Niles and Monica Hibberd of Niles; grandchildren, Kayla Atwood, Courtney Babcock, Taylor Hibberd and Nicholas Hibberd; brothers, Joel Camp of Niles and Bill Camp of Niles; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Willie and Gladys Camp, and a brother, Jerry Camp.

Funeral services will be at 4 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 12, at Halbritter Funeral Home in Niles with Pastor Jeffrey L. Whittaker of Michiana Christian Embassy officiating.

There will be no visitation.
