Dennis Connors, 55, of Niles, passed away at home Wednesday, Jan. 4, 2012, with his family by his

side.

Dennis was born March 30, 1956 to Raymond and Evelyn (Poznanski) Connors in Niles. He was one of seven children in the Connors household.

Dennis graduated from Niles Senior High School. He wed Linda (Jasper) Connors and together they had two children. Linda passed away in July 1999. He loved his family, hunting, fishing and spending time in northern Michigan.

Dennis is preceded in death by his wife.

He is survived by his parents, Ray and Evelyn; children, Matt (Tracey) Connors of Mishawaka, Ind., and Kellie Connors of Elkhart, Ind.; grandchildren, Ryan, Bryce, Emilie and Erika; girlfriend, Vicki Papczynski, her children, Michelle and Melissa; and Vicki’s grandchildren, all of Niles; and siblings, Alan Connors, Kevin (Betsy) Connors, Cheryl (Kerry) Dubie, Elaine (Terry) Miller and Debbie Connors, all of Niles, and Bill (Diana) Connors of Alma, Mich.

A memorial service will be held Sunday, Jan. 8, 2012, at Mission Hills Memorial Chapel at 2:30 p.m. with a time of visitation one hour prior. Pastor Jeff Whittaker will be officiating and a private burial will take place.

Memorial donations may be made in Dennis’ memory to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
