Katie Karlowicz and Matt Herm

Katie Karlowicz of Niles and Matt Herm of Port Huron, Mich., have announced their

engagement and forthcoming wedding. The couple will be married in Holland, Mich., in July.

Karlowicz is the daughter of Elizabeth Steel Karlowicz and Peter Karlowicz. She is a 2008 graduate of Niles High School and will graduate with a special education degree from Hope College in May.

Herm is the son of Sandy and Trevor Herm. He is a 2008 Port Huron Northern graduate and will graduate with a sociology degree from Hope College in May.
