Correshia Rodgers and Dontel Highsmith have been named theDowagiac Daily News Athletes of the Week sponsored by TCU.

Rodgers had 14 points in the Chieftains’ loss to Michigan Lutheran Friday night.

Highsmith set a school record with 56 points against Plainwell Dec. 13. He eclipsed the record of 44 points scored by Tom Livingston.

Highsmith averaged 49 points for his first two games of the 2011-12 season.
