The Southern Michigan Snowmobile Council donated $750 to the Berrien County Sheriff’s Department.
Council President Larry Harris, president of the council, presented the money to Berrien, Cass and Van Buren County Sheriff’s Departments to purchase helmet radio communications.
This equipment will allow officers to communicate with each other while riding/patroling the snowmobile trails. The Southern Michigan Snowmobile Council is comprised of several local Snowmobile Clubs:  Snowbusters in Lawton, Drift Busters in Gobles, Four Flags in Niles, Driftskippers in Coloma, Edwardsburg Snowmobile Club an Snowbusters in Galien.
