Cass County Sheriff Joseph M. Underwood Jr. reports his deputies handled a single-vehicle crash on 2:30 a.m. Sunday on White Street, just west of Barron Lake Road in Howard Township.
The vehicle, driven by Deborah Brummitt, 57, of Niles, was traveling east on White Street when she ran off the roadway and struck a tree.  She was transported to South Bend Memorial Hospital for treatment of her injuries.
