Ronnie Lee Goodman, 73, Sullivan, Ind., passed away at 10:20 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 25, 2011.
He was born in Dugger, Ind., the son of Leo V. Goodman and Lorene Mason Goodman. He moved to Niles where he attended and graduated from Niles High School with the class of 1957. After graduation he worked for the Green Giant Co. in Michigan, Wisconsin and Minnesota. He also was a retired O.T.R. truck driver and retired from Peabody Coal Co. He was a member of Crossroads Community Church in Sullivan, the Dugger Masonic Lodge Post 721, the Scottish Rite and Sullivan County Shrine.
He was preceded in death by his father.
He was formerly married to Jo Ann Farrell, also of Niles, and now residing in Clearwater, Fla. Survivors also include his mother, of Sullivan; his wife, Terry Beth Day Goodman;and one daughter, Ronna (Dennis) Oelheim; and one son, Scott Goodman, both of Sullivan; one stepdaughter, Shanna Donat, Sullivan; and one stepson, Jeffery (Lisa) Donat, Saline, Mich.; two brothers, Darrell (Kathy) Goodman and David H. Goodman, both of Sullivan; 12 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Services were held at 10 a.m. Oct. 29, at Newkirk’s Funeral Home, Dugger, with interment at Dugger Cemetery.
