Cass County’s Great Start Playgroups have fun Christmas activities planned for all Cass County children ages 0-5, including games, snacks and crafts.
Take home recipes, materials and a free book. Children’s development will always be the focus of activities at the playgroups. The play areas will encourage speech, fine and gross motor skills, social and emotional skills and problem solving.
The public is welcome to the following playgroups:
• Dec. 7 — Marcellus Elementary School, 9:15 to 10:15 a.m.
• Dec. 12 — Edwardsburg Primary School, 9:30 to 10:30 a.m.
• Dec. 14 — Cassopolis Squires Elementary, 9:30 to 10:30 a.m.
• Dec. 20 — Sister Lakes Elementary School, 9:30 to 10:30 a.m.
• Dec. 22 — Dowagiac Patrick Hamilton School, 9:30 to 10:30 a.m.

Cass County Great Start Parent Coalition and Great Start 0-5 invite the public to a Family Holiday Celebration Saturday, Dec. 10, from 1 to 3 p.m. at the Cass District Library, 319 M-62 Cassopolis.
Bring a camera for pictures with Santa. There will be activities for all ages, door prizes, refreshments, crafts and more. Bring the whole family for an afternoon of fun.
Admission is a donation of one non-perishable food item per person for local food pantries.
