Christine Noel Burton, 45, of South 21^st Street, South Bend, died at 8:25 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 22, 2011, at St. Joseph Regional Medical Center in Mishawaka, Ind. following an extended illness.

She was born Dec. 11, 1965 in Chicago. She was raised in Chicago and moved to South Bend in 2000. She was a former employee of Genesis Property Management.

Christine enjoyed word puzzles and mystery movies. She loved her pets and as a child going to the beach at Montrose Harbor in Chicago.

She married Ray T. Burton on July 4, 2003 in Las Vegas. He survives.

She is also survived by her brothers, Tom McNicholes and Jim McNicholes, both of Chicago, and a circle of friends, including Jean Batista of Chicago.

The family gathered privately for services.

There will be no visitation.
