Agnes E. Genda, 89, of Chicago Road in Niles, died Friday, Nov. 18, 2011, at 8:57 a.m. in her home.
She was born June 11, 1922, in Chicago to the late John T. and Frances Blair Holloway.
On July 17, 1943 in Chicago she married Edward Genda, who preceded her in death on March 20, 1977.
She is survived by three daughters: Diane Graham of Niles, Barbara Semans of Mt. Pleasant, Mich. and Carol Leffler of Decatur. Also surviving are four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be Monday from 4 to 8 p.m. at Swem Chapel in Buchanan.
Services will be Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. at Portage Prairie United Methodist Church Niles with the Rev. O’Ryan Rickard officiating.
