Taxpayer wants voice heard regarding schools

Dear editor:

Lansing politicians seem determined to destroy my voice as a taxpayer. Senate bills 618-624 are proof of that.
I pay taxes, which support my local school district. I have a voice in what happens in my neighborhood school. Now, this new legislation wants to silence me and sell my public school to a private company that will make all the decisions regarding curriculum, who attends school and who gets my money. Enough is enough!

Sincerely,
