James McDuffy, a professional singer and gospel recording artist, will visit the Cassopolis United Methodist Church (CUMC) during the 10 a.m. worship service Sunday. Sept. 25.
McDuffy, a Three Rivers native, has been singing and praising God through song for 30 years.
His professional experiences include singing with the Blackwood Brothers, Larry Ford, the Gaithers, and also for Detroit Piston fans. McDuffy now resides in Naples, Fla. but he is often found in the southwest Michigan area. In recent weeks, he has sung at churches in Dowagiac and Niles.
McDuffy describes his music as traditional. At his appearance in Cassopolis, he will be accompanied by church pianist Neal Wright of Mishawaka and his repertoire will include such favorites as “Amazing Grace,” “How Great Thou Art,” “The Old Rugged Cross,” “He Touched Me” and several other favorites of the church.
Child-care and children’s classes are also available during the 10 a.m. worship.
