On Wednesday Brandywine traveled to New Buffalo for the New Buffalo Cross Country Invitational.  The Bobcats were unable to field a full team, but the ones that were there ran hard.

Collin Mattiford ran strong for the boys finishing with a time of 19:32.5.  He placed 13th overall but team scores were configured by total team time, instead of the normal individual time. Also running for the Brandywine boys was Evan Zacharaski, who finished with a time of 25.44.4.

Anchoring the Brandywine girls were Katelynn Dolgos with a time of 27:32 and Allison Zacharski with 31:18.2.  Rounding out the girl’s team was Megan Coleman at 42:08.9.

Without being able to field a full 5-member team, both squads finished in eighth place.

Saturday Brandywine will be headed to Dowagiac looking for some better running from both girls and boys.
