BENTON HARBOR — For the second straight Big 16 Conference West Division Jamboree, the Portage Central Mustangs came away with the team title.

Portage Central shot 169 Monday morning to easily outdistance the field. St. Joseph was second with 190, Portage Northern third with 204, Lakeshore fourth with 234 and Niles fifth with 242.

Rounding out the field were Kalamazoo Central (275), Mattawan (304) and Benton Harbor (DNF).

Portage Central’s Jessica Heimonen was the medalist as she shot 36.

Niles was led by Sarah Cramer’s 57. Erika Hardy finished with a 61, while Stephanie Vernier and Allie Dodson each shot 62. Paxton Schaller finished with a 63 and Abby Mattson a 71.
