BROOKLYN – With only 50 laps remaining in the Pure Michigan 400 and with one green flag pit stop remaining, it’s go-time for the Sprint Cup drivers.
Jeff Gordon took over the lead at lap 87 and remained out front as the race headed to the home stretch.
Kyle Busch was second, Matt Kenseth third, Jimmie Johnson fourth and Brad Keselowski fifth.
Rounding out the top 10 were Kasey Kahne, Clint Bowyer, Ryan Newman and Dale Earnhardt Jr., who has steadily moved through the field after going for four tires instead of two at the last caution.
