To the editor:

We want to thank our sponsors, committee members, team captains, members and local businesses who donated auction items and all others who participated in “Relay for Life” on Saturday and Sunday (July 16-17) at Dowagiac Union High School.

A special thank you to John Suseland, our auctioneer, Coach Mike Stanger, the football team, the Ladies of the Dowagiac Moose lodge and to the Sister Lakes School students.

This was truly a community event.

The total amount raised so far is $70,000 and counting.

So to everyone who made any contribution, we say, “Thank you.”
