Encore School of the Arts would like to announce auditions for their three performance groups; Encore Dance Company, Encore Extreme Pom Team, and Encore Angels.
An informational meeting regarding these performance groups will be held on Wednesday, Aug. 24, 5:30 p.m. at Encore School of the Arts, 405 E Division in Dowagiac.
New this year is the Encore Extreme Pom Team. Any area girl age 14 – 20 is welcome to audition Saturday, August 27th, 9:00 am at Encore School of the Arts. Mandatory audition rehearsals will be held Wednesday, August 24th and Thursday, August 25th from 6:00 pm – 8:30 at Encore. The Extreme Team will perform at area high school basketball games, the Encore Christmas and Spring Shows and more. Regular rehearsals will be Saturday afternoons twice a month. Scholarships will be offered at auditions. Encore Dance Company will hold auditions Saturday, August 27th at 10:30 am at Encore school of the Arts. Dancer’s grades 4th – 12th must be enrolled in at least one weekly ballet class to be eligible to audition. Rehearsals will be Saturday mornings. Scholarships will be offered at auditions.
Encore Angels is the new dance and choral praise group at Encore.
Area children 10-20 years of age are eligible to join. You can dance or sing or both with this group. Auditions will be held Saturday, August 27th, 12 noon at Encore School of the Arts.
