BROOKLYN — Michigan International Speedway and Americrown, the racetrack’s food and beverage provider, have menu offerings and other services to enhance the fan experience during the upcoming Aug. 19-21 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series Pure Michigan 400 race weekend.

Guests can visit the Irish Hills Escape tent in the New Holland Fan Plaza to get their hands on food unique to MIS and the Irish Hills of Michigan. With special help from Americrown’s Executive Chef, Frank Marrara, race fans will be able to enjoy any of the following offerings:

• Callaghan’s Nachos

• Jameson Style Boneless Wings

• Guinness BBQ Meatball Hoagie

• Frankie O’Malley’s Corned Beef Sandwich

• Shamrock Salad

• Lucky Charm Treats

• Irish Soda Cookies

In addition to unique food offerings, fans that visit the Irish Hills Escape tent will also get to take a picture with a leprechaun cut-out and grab some lucky coins from the pot of gold.

“I’m really excited about the hard work Americrown has done to provide opportunities for our fans that are exclusive to MIS,” speedway President Roger Curtis said. “We try in so many ways to provide a unique experience to all of our guests, so they come away with lasting memories every June and August.”

Fans interested in healthy dining, now have that option too! Salads are offered at the Irish Hills Escape in the Fan Plaza, sections 16, and in the infield concession stand below the pit road suites. Those interested in a delicious Subway sandwich, can find these healthy sandwiches in section 35 and the Fan Plaza.

Lastly, all Americrown food and bar locations will now be accepting credit cards to add to customer convenience. They will not be accepted at any beer or soda portable carts.

“We have worked closely with our tracks to tailor menus to better serve their guests,” Americrown President Michael Gentry said. “We’re proud of the menu options we are now offering for our fans and adding the convenience of credit card transactions at many of our locations at MIS will only make it easier for them.”
