Gale Ann Smith, 54, of Niles died at 8:14 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 3, 2011 at her home in Niles of natural causes.
She was born Oct. 28, 1956 in St. Joseph. She was a homemaker and a lifetime area resident.
Gale was preceded in death by her parents, James and Ethel Wasson.
She is survived by her sons, Peter Smith and Michael Smith of Niles; daughters, Michelle Schuur of Marcellus and Jessica Szymonski of Dowagiac; two brothers, four sisters and six grandchildren.
A private family memorial service will be held at a later date.
