WHME-FM has announced plans to expand its coverage of Indiana University sports on Harvest 103.1 WHME this season.

The station reached an agreement with Learfield Communications to again air all Hoosier football and men’s basketball games. In addition, the station will carry selected Indiana women’s basketball games as well.

“We’re extremely pleased and excited to be Michiana’s “Voice of the Hoosiers’,” says WHME Sports Director Chuck Freeby.  “We know Indiana fans really care about their programs, and we’re glad that we could add women’s sports as well.”

New coach Kevin Wilson is in the process of rejuvenating the Indiana football program, making news this week with the addition of two top-flight in-state recruits. He’ll make his sideline debut September 3rd when the Hoosiers face Ball State at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m.

Harvest 103.1 is a 3,000-watt FM station covering eight counties which also airs Notre Dame baseball, Christian programs, talk shows and inspirational music.
