Barbara A. Pugh, 75, of Sister Lakes, died Sunday, July 24, 2011, at her home.

A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, July 28, at Sacred Heart of Mary Catholic Church in Silver Creek Township.
Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends and relatives on Wednesday from 4 to 7 p.m. at Dey-Florin Chapel of Florin Funeral Service in St. Joseph.
A Rosary will be said at 7 p.m. on Wednesday at the Dey-Florin Chapel.
Memorials may be made to the Sister Lakes Lady Lions Scholarship Fund or to Lakeland Hospice.
Barb was born on Dec. 30, 1935, in St. Joseph to Harold and Frances Burkhard.
She married James Pugh, who preceded her in death on Sept. 13, 1993.
Barb retired in 1985 after 13 years of employment as an accountant with Zenith Data Systems in St. Joseph.
She was a member of Sacred Heart of Mary Catholic Church, the Sister Lakes Lady Lions, the Sister Lakes Hobby Club and the Auxiliary of Amvets Post 88.
She enjoyed crafts, bowling, reading and raising her grandchildren.
Barb was a caring and understanding person with high integrity.
She is survived by: her children, Timothy (Anna) Pugh of Pensacola, Fla., Lynn (James) Pabis of St. Joseph, Susan (Daris) Delsi of Kalamazoo, Michael Pugh of Sister Lakes, Karen (David) Kennedy of W. Little Rock, Ark., Stephen Pugh of Sister Lakes, Thomas Pugh of Sister Lakes, Kathryn Lyons of Paw Paw and Joseph (Kim) Pugh of Kalamazoo; her sisters, Joan (Ronald) Nelthorpe of California and Mary (Norbert) Ciolek of Illinois; her brother, Robert Burkhard of North Carolina; and her 12 grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by her parents, and by her two brothers, Andrew Burkhard and John Burkhard.
