The Berrien County Sheriff’s Department is seeking the public’s help in identifying a robbery suspect shown during the act.

According to the sheriff’s department, around 3:35 p.m. Monday an African-American woman robbed the Bank of America at 1903 South 11th St. in Niles Township. The suspect may have a tattoo around her right wrist along with tattoos above her knuckles of her right hand.

Officers with the sheriff’s department road patrol responded to the scene and a Niles police officer and his K-9 assisted in attempting to locate the suspect but were unsuccessful.

An undisclosed amount of money was taken during the robbery.
