Leonard, Prestly named All-State

Brandywine seniors Lauren Leonard and Kelsey Prestly have been named honorable mention All-State in Division 4 by the Michigan High School Tennis Coaches’ Association.
Leonard and Prestly were 21-0 this past spring.
Leonard was 68-5 overall, winning All-Lakeland Conference and Division 4 All-Region all four years.
Prestly finished her career with a 53-6 overall record that included all-league and all-regional honors in her three seasons of varsity tennis.
The Brandywine tennis team was also honored by the MHSTeCA with an Academic All-State award.
The Bobcats, led by co-valedictorian Lena Miles (4.0 GPA) and salutatorian Taylor Mattiford (3.96), had a team GPA of 3.66.
In order to qualify for Academic All-State a team must have at least a GPA of 3.25.
Berrien Springs freshman Arien Kissinger was a first team All-State selection in singles.
