Geraldine Guthrie-Simmons, 63, died Monday, June 27, 2011 in Ft. Pierce, Fla.

Mrs. Simmons was born in Niles and moved to the Treasure Coast 30 years ago.

Survivors include her sons, David Gipson, Donald Gipson and Dwain Gipson, all of Pennsylvania; daughter, Donna Simpson of Port St. Lucie, Fla.; father and mother, Albert and Betty Guthrie of Lake Worth, Fla.; brothers, Richard Guthrie of  Boynton Beach, Fla. and Robert Guthrie of Michigan; sister, Nancy Danley of Lake Worth, Fla.; 20 grandchildren and one great-grandson.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.

Arrangements are under the direction of Haisley Funeral & Cremation Service.
