The Knights of Columbus and Lunkers will sponsor a youth fishing contest Saturday, July 9.

The tournament is limited to the first 50 registered children between the ages of 8 and 16.

A parent, guardian, grandparent or adult present is recommended, but if no adult is available, specialty arrangements may be made.

Check-in will take place at Our Lady of The Lake Catholic Church, 24832 U.S. 12 in Edwardsburg from 8 to 9 a.m.

The contest will take place on Painter, Juno, Christiana, Eagle and Garver lakes between 9 a.m. and noon.

Cookies and punch will be served after the fishing tournament at the church.

Prizes will be awarded for longest fish and most weighing fish.

Every child will receive participation certificates and a participation prize.
