Deborah Jean Drudge, 57, of Edwardsburg, passed away Monday, May 30, 2011 at her home.

She was born March 13, 1954 in San Mateo, Calif. and came to this area in 1970.

She was married Dec. 17, 1976 in Edwardsburg to Lance E. Drudge Sr., and he survives. Together, Lance and Debbie worked together in the Uptown Tavern. However, Debbie enjoyed just being a homemaker. Debbie served in the Army and she enjoyed her family and home.

Other survivors are four children, Kristy Drudge of Edwardsburg, Lance Jr. of Potosi, Mo., Randy of Elkhart and Shane (Andrea) of Edwardsburg. There are 10 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Also, three siblings, Marlene Underly and JoAnn Aitkens, both of Edwardsburg, and Jack Christner of Edwardsburg.

Cremation has taken place.

Friends and family may gather at the Edwardsburg American Legion, Post today from 4 to 7 p.m.

There will be military honors for Debbie at 5 p.m. by the Edwardsburg American Legion and the United States Army Honor Guard. The gathering will continue to 7 p.m.

Interment of Debbie will be Friday, June 10, at Rice Cemetery, Hope Mausoleum.

Arrangements are by Paul E. Mayhew Funeral Home, Edwardsburg.

Memorial donations may be given to the Edwardsburg American Legion.
