Phyllis N. Davis, 77, of Berrien Springs, died Saturday, June 4, 2011 at home.
Phyllis was born Jan. 27, 1934, in Palatine, Ill. to Louis and Catherne (Seide) Glynn. She had been a licensed practical nurse as well as head custodian for Meier and Burman Halls at Andrews University, Berrien Springs.
She is survived by her husband, Warren Davis, whom she married June 8, 1952; daughters, Julie (David) Grovet of Lacombe, Alberta, Canada, twins, Patricia (Douglas) Hawley of Niles and Pamela (Steven Strouts) Johnson of Watervliet, Candy (Conrad) Reichert of Gettysburg, Pa. and Mary (Randy) Peters of Niles; son, Dan Davis of Nashville, Tenn.; 22 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren; three brothers, Arnold (Janet) Glynn, Richard (Audry) Glynn and John (Shirley) Glynn; and a sister, Iris Cain (Richard) Heyde.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, June 9 at the Eau Claire Seventh-day Adventist Church, with burial following in Rose Hill Cemetery, Berrien Springs.
