To whom it may concern — hopefully, the citizens of Dowagiac:

Dowagiac Dial-a-Ride is a wonderful service the City of Dowagiac has for the citizens.

I recently took part in the Let’s Get Moving Advocacy Day, held May 17.

The dispatcher was courteous and efficient, the drivers showed compassion and concern for the passengers.

I was truly amazed to learn the City of Dowagiac has been providing this service for 36 years.

People in general don’t appreciate services or understand their importance to the community until they are neede.d

I certainly have learned to appreciate the service of Dial-a-Ride.

Thanks to the City of Dowagiac for such a great service.
