Niles will face Edwardsburg in the opening round of the Michigan High School Athletic Association Division 2 Soccer District Tournament on Tuesday, May 31.

The Eddies will host the first round game at 5 p.m. The winner advances to Lakeshore High School in Stevensville on June 2 to face the winner of the Benton Harbor-Sturgis match at either 3 p.m. or 5 p.m. That match will be played at Lakeshore on May 31 at 5 p.m.

If the Vikings advances the semifinal will be played at 3 p.m. due Niles’ graduation that evening.

In the other half of the bracket, Lakeshore wil host St. Joseph in the second game of the doubleheader on May 31. That match will begin at 7 p.m.

The winner of that match will take on Three Rivers on June 2 at Lakeshore at either 5 p.m. or 7 p.m. (depending on the start time of the first semifinal).

The championship match is slated for 10 a.m.Saturday, June 4.
