BRONSON – Visiting Brandywine combined Bronson miscues with timely hitting and solid pitching to earn a sweep of the Vikings on Tuesday.

The Bobcats (15-8) won the opener 4-3 despite having just three hits. Bronson committed five errors in the contest. Brandywine banged out 10 hits in the nightcap en route to a 4-2 victory.

Alex Erwin earned the first game victory as he tossed a one-hitter. Brian Exner had a double for the Bobcats.

Kyle Duncan allowed just two runs on eight hits in the second game to pick up the win. Austin Searles and Erwin both doubled for the Bobcats.

“Our pitching tonight was dominate,” Brandywine coach David Sidenbender said. “Kyle and Alex didnt surrender an earned run in 14 innings. Alex struck out 10, while Kyle took down seven.
