Bobcats play to 1-1 draw

On Monday night Coloma visited rival Brandywine for a Lakeland Conference soccer match

Brandywine struck first with a goal only 1:26 into the game by Mackenzie Shelton

The Bobcats carried a 1-0 lead into halftime.

The game was back and forth with Coloma scoring a goal with 19 minutes left in the game to tie it up at 1-1.

The Bobcats outshot the visiting Comets 14-4 but had trouble finding the back of the net.

The goalkeeper for Coloma Cari Jarvis kept the Comets alive with 13 saves. Brandywine’s keeper Carlie Newman had three saves to help the Bobcats finish the game tied 1-1.
