In the first game, the Tigers took advantage of a couple of Bobcat errors and managed to bring a runner around to score to go up 1-0 right away.

The Bobcats would respond heavily in the bottom half of the first inning as they sent 22 batters to the plate, scoring 19 of them.

The Bobcats managed nine hits, nine walks, and two batters were hit by pitches in the bottom half of the inning. Leading the way for Brandywine was Victoria Knight, going 2-for-2 with a triple, a single and four RBIs. Ellie Price also went 2-for-2 with three RBI, while Rachael Ort and Mikayla Kemp each went 2-for-2 with a walk, while driving in three runs each.

Stephanie Horner singled and drove in three runs in the inning.

The Bobcats went three up and three down in the second inning and held the Tigers off the board to finish the first game in just three innings.

Brande Overholt got the victory in the circle and although the Tigers scored a run in the first inning, it was unearned, and Overholt didn’t allow a hit, while striking out four batters.

The second game was much of the same for both teams.

This time Kemp pitched a no-hitter for the Bobcats while striking out 12 Tiger batters.

The ’Cats scattered 12 hits over four innings and won easily, 14-0.
